I bought on of the 6019-dp but it doesn’t clear the exhaust manifold. I see from other questions you eluded to this answer but I din’t have any directions or see the parts that I think I need. Is there a blank you offer that replaces the coolant plate or does that somehow attach to the original exhaust? It is roughly a 1983 setup, the exhaust manifold is a one piece that also has a hole on the same area the coolant cover is at. I have been piecing this engine together, so any info helps. Plus do you recommend or offer a type of washer that works best to put on the hold down bolts to the head?
The 6019-DP manifold is designed to be heated by the exhaust manifold (same as the original Ford design). The intake should be attached to the exhaust manifold at the “hole” you are referring to in your question. A water plate can be used to provide heat to the intake in applications that do not use the one piece factory exhaust manifold. As far as the washer, you can use the factory washers.
