I have a 4.2 258 jeep motor swap into a DJ5 (right hand drive) AMC mail jeep. Donor engine has a paired offenhauser 5979 ? 5989? (There is a score mark on number on bottom of manifold). The donor engine exhaust manifold it came with does not fit. The original AMC manifold doesn’t fit donor engine.
Exh Man pipes are in the way of the intake matching up, in about 4 places.
What do i need for a correct exhaust manifold w/ this combo?

The 258 Jeep manifolds we produce are as follows:
- 6258C
- 6257DP
- 6208C
- 5999DP
The easiest way to tell which intake it is would be to look at the carb pad. The DP or Dual Port intakes will have a 4 hole pattern where as the C Series intake will have one large opening. All Offenhauser 258 Jeep manifolds are meant to work with the stock exhaust. If you don’t have the stock exhaust it can work with aftermarket models but be aware you may need to clearance both the manifolds to fit properly. This is true of the Dorman reproduction OE Jeep exhaust manifolds.
